What we do:

Aras runs a SaaS-style Subscription business model similar to Red Hat. We operate an in-bound marketing and sales process to generate business, and use content marketing to drive traffic to our website. Once at our site, people learn about Aras and our solutions, and ultimately become Subscribers. Our keys to success include bringing the right people to our site, providing the right information to support their decision making, engaging efficiently during the buying process and having perfect execution of our internal order to cash processes.


What you’ll do:

Aras has an immediate opening for an Account Executive at our corporate headquarters in Andover, MA. The Account Executive will leverage strategic and enterprise sales skills to reach executive-level decision makers and build strong relationships with our customers.

This individual is responsible for an annual quota and will drive initial and follow-on sales of both enterprise software subscriptions and consulting services.  S/he must demonstrate outstanding sales leadership and be versed in best practices of value selling. Successful applicants will be highly motivated professionals who can operate on an independent basis, and juggle many concurrent sales processes in parallel.

·         Build relationships with a variety of accounts, of different sizes and in different manufacturing industries

·         Call and collaborate with executives at all levels to facilitate deal closure

·         Manage the sales-cycle, including contract generation and other deliverables for closing

·         Meet quarterly sales goals

·         Understand an account’s needs and effectively communicating how Aras software maps to those needs

·         Communicate the benefits of the Subscription model

·         Apply knowledge of the manufacturing industry, engineering software, and PLM solutions to organizations of all sizes

·         Qualify and prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate resources to build win-win customer relationships



·         Obvious passion for enterprise software and outstanding people skills

·         2+ years successful sales experience, with priority given to those with PLM and ERP software experience

·         Consistent over-achievement in past experiences

·         Technically adept, experienced with web technologies and enterprise software solutions
