Position Description

We’ve got great stories to tell and we’re looking for someone to help us share them with the world. Working as an integral part of the global Marketing team, the Senior Writer of Customer Stories will be responsible for writing, producing and packaging materials that convey the results our global users have realized with Aras products and services. We’re looking for someone who can ask the right questions, connect the dots and produce the story.

We are seeking a self-starter with a proven one-two punch of technical PLM knowledge and outstanding writing skills to put his / her stamp on this newly created position. This is a high-touch role that interacts with all levels of the organization – both internally and with our users. Some local and international travel is required.


What You’ll Do

·         Work collaboratively with Aras users, Community Directors, Product Managers, Consultants and Partners around the world to produce high-impact marketing assets, including case studies, technical presentations, white papers and contributed articles.

·         Summarize and write-up how Aras solutions are applied in the company, how process innovations have impacted operations and strategic initiatives, what business transformations have occurred, and the value / ROI realized from Aras products and services

·         Manage the entire process, from initial reviews to final editing, internal review and user company approval

·         Maintain writing standards and best practices to ensure the creation of quality, consistent content and communications

·         Communicate customer successes online and through presentations and webcasts

·         Assist customer executives, managers and project teams in communicating improvements and results achieved with Aras


What You Need

·         5+ years of experience in a Customer Marketing or Business Development Consultant / Solution Value Consultant role for an enterprise PLM software company

·         Experience in engineering, manufacturing or management consulting strongly desired

·         Thorough understanding of / background in enterprise PLM software with products such as Windchill, MatrixOne, Teamcenter or Agile PLM is preferred

·         Exceptional writing skills and the ability to produce new written materials quickly is essential

·         Hands-on experience writing a variety of different types of materials is required including customer case studies, white papers, slides, blogs and more

·         Ability to develop process and execute from strategic concept through final deliverables and customer approval

·         Ability to capture and articulate the value realized by Aras customers

·         Ability to construct and extract metrics pertaining to the success of the Aras solution provided

·         Down-to-earth interpersonal skills with natural ability to make interpersonal connections and discuss business issues

·         Comfort engaging with people at all roles and levels of an organization from senior executives to business and technical personnel

·         Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills

·         Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

·         Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of development with multiple different customers simultaneously

·         Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

·         High level of energy, enthusiasm, initiative and responsibility

·         MBA desired, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required

·         Fluency in English - written and spoken; other languages a plus

·         Willingness to travel (could be as high as 60%)
